“I had an addiction. I had a son in foster care. I was homeless, and I did not have a job. I was in and out of jail for misdemeanors. I came to the Hearten House and got into Family Restoration court. I got sober, enrolled in classes at the Bowen Center, and I have been working at Taco Bell since early October. I have changed my attitude and outlook on life. I am a Christian. I now have regular visits with my youngest son in foster care, working on getting him back and finding us a home so we can be together again. I also get to see my 17-year-old daughter on my passes, and she is happy I'm in recovery and supportive.”
